Assalamu Alikum

Ambassadors for Peace are individuals whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others, and who dedicate themselves to promoting universal moral values, strong family life, inter-religious cooperation, international harmony, renewal of the United Nations, responsible mass media, and the establishment of a global culture of peace. Transcending racial, national and religious barriers, the Ambassadors for Peace contribute to the fulfillment of the hope of all ages, a unified world of peace, wherein the spiritual and material dimensions of all reality are harmonized.

Mr. Magdy Mahmoud, the Founder and President of the Muslim Leadership Institute, has received this precious award for building bridges among different faith communities and constructive youth activities. Dr. Mohammed Qatanani, the Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, was the recipient of the same award last year. He presented the Muslim Community in NJ and delivered a speech in this year event.

The Second Annual Moderation Conference (9 pictures)

Forming moderation based ideologies through scientific ways of communication and interaction among Muslim communities in USA in a way that helps to theoretically and practically adapt moderation which reflects in achieving a good citizenship balanced by both identity and common civilization.

Targeted Audience:

Muslim Scholars, Islamic Work leaders, heads of centers, societies, links and various Muslim organizations in USA Propagandist. The American Muslim Union (AMU) held its annual Community Brunch at Glenpointe Marriott Hotel in Teanech, NJ on Sunday March 11, 2007. About 1,000 Muslim leaders, Imams, Christian and Jewish clergies, US and NJ congressmen, elected officials have gathered in a worm environment. The list of participants included:
